Installation

First step: Check out the requirements

• Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP
• mIRC 32 Bit version 5.9 and above
• at least 2 KB of free hard disk space
• Keyboard or Mouse

Second Step: Unpack the Files

Unpack the archiv file vcontrol into a new directory.

Note: You can install this Addon into any directory on your hard disk but I recommend you to use a subdirectory of mIRC.

The archive file includes:

• vcontrol.mrc (the Addon)
• vcontrol-readme.html (this file)

Third step: Load the Addon

Type the following line in the command line of mIRC: /load -rs x:\path\vcontrol.mrc

Remove

To remove the Addon, type the following in the command line of mIRC: /unload -rs vcontrol.mrc

Usage

To open the Volume Control type /volume or use the menubar entry "Volume Control".

The usage should be pretty much self explaining. To increase the volume move the slider up, to decrease it move it down.

Description

A simple "mini-mixer" dialog where you can adjust your volume settings.
